We are going to be discussing the 5 elements of a short story in class for the next couple of weeks.

Click here to see the Flocabulary Video we watched in class. This link also has all of the words in case you want to learn the rap.

This is a cool site to intereact with the elements of a short story.

Warning, Girls will like it more than boys because it uses the story “Cinderella”.

1. Read the story and complete the activities

2. Take the quiz

- Print out your results or take a picture on your phone and e-mail it to me (jboulet@lcsonline.org). Make sure you make the title of your e-mail your name. I will give you an extra assignment grade if you do this.

Here is another site you can go to and try to figure out the plot line (using “Cinderella” sorry boys).

This website offers more information about the 5 elements (they actually have 6! See if you can be the first to post their added element!)
